World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Upgrades to items give players the ability to upgrade equipment that they already own. This can be accomplished by any item upgrade r NPC.
Upgrades increase the main stat of an item and also add extras based on its type. Examples include Whistan’s shield for FB Sorcs, and Goldwraps for casting builds.
Armour
Armour is one of the key things that keeps Link protected from damage in the majority of situations. While it isn't able to be upgraded like weapons, you can enhance its defense capabilities in different ways.
Armour is designed to safeguard animals or people from harm or injury regardless of whether it's a direct physical attack or from a variety of environmental or activity hazards. In the past, most armour was made from fabric or leather, but metal protections were also employed, especially for military applications such as heavy cavalry and combat drones.
As with weapons there are a myriad of ways that armour can be upgraded, but the majority of them require visiting one of the four Great Fairy Fountains located throughout Hyrule. Each fountain has a unique degree of upgrades available and more will provide higher levels of protection, but needing a higher amount of rupees and the materials needed to unlock.
The first thing to remember about Armor Upgrades is that they are upgrades that last forever, meaning that after they've been put in place, they cannot be replaced unless you have another piece of equipment that comes with the same upgrade. It is crucial to only apply the highest level of upgrades to your equipment and ensure that you have the required materials to complete them.
You can find the upgrades you require in a variety places throughout Hyrule. These include shrines, merchants and even enemies. They'll usually be identified with a gold circle or a blue triangle symbol, and can be found in large quantities as you progress through the game. They can appear randomly, but there is a chance that obtaining certain upgrades can trigger a quest that will reward you with more.
It is also important to note that although the level of protection offered by each upgrade varies but it's the same across all upgrades and will always be better than nothing. A complete set of upgraded armor will give you a strong defense boost that protects you from any kind of attack including magic. This makes it a formidable weapon for any class.
Weapons
If you'd like to make your guns distinctive, you can upgrade them by utilizing a variety of unique upgrades. These upgrades can boost damage or change the stats of the weapon to match your specific build. They also allow new attachments, such as unique enchantments and different kinds of ammunition, and aesthetic options.
You'll require both the upgrade component as well as the weapon itself to upgrade it. The weapon must be at or near an appropriate level to upgrade it. Most weapons can only accept a single upgrade.
You can find weapons upgrade components scattered across the globe and from enemies or purchased from merchants. Upgrade components are a mixture of components that you can put into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools in order to gain an attribute bonus. The equipment must be a certain level in order to accept the upgrade. It can be upgraded in the same way as other items.
The upgrades themselves are a combination of Smithing Stones and Runes, and can be used to enhance the stats of the base weapon and improving its scaling with other stats. These upgrades can be obtained from enemies in the open world or from merchants. They can also be obtained through combat.
Two NPCs can enhance your weapon: Blacksmith Hewg, located in the Roundtable Hold hub zone and the Smithing Master Iji located in the Road to Manor hub zone. Both of these NPCs will take your Smithing Stones and Runes in exchange for a more powerful version of the weapon and an enhancement.
Prioritize upgrading your top-in-slot items first. Then upgrade the ones you aren't likely to replace anytime soon. Upgrade your weapon first, and then upgrade your chest, shoulders, hands, and feet if you plan to play an asymmetrical build. The same principle applies to Magic and Utility Items. However, based on your playstyle, some items will be more beneficial than others. Armour is no different, with some Reforges being better than others.
Magic Items
A character can only upgrade one magic item at one time. If an upgrade plan has been cancelled, no more upgrades will be offered for the item. Upgraded magic items cost twice as much gold to create or purchase, but can offer other benefits.
A magical item is any item that has special properties or effects. These items are mostly weapons, but they can also be armors, shields, cloaks and potions. They could also be rings, scrolls or other items. Some of these items have a sense of being.
Most magic items can be upgraded to become equipped with additional capabilities. This makes them more useful to a player or help them to overcome a difficult situation. A weapon infused with an ingredient that is unique could offer, for instance, extra damage against a certain type of enemy. This is particularly beneficial for characters that have reached a level where they will likely face the same kind of monster in dungeons repeatedly.
A ring infused by magic might grant immunity to nonmagical attacks that bludgeon, pierce, or slash (excluding attacks that are silvered) until the character is given a second rest. This can be particularly helpful for combatants who are melee or anyone who wishes to save the cost and hassle of purchasing an armor.
Certain items with enchanted properties have special abilities that let the character cast spells in addition to the ones on the list of spells for their class. This is beneficial for those who are having trouble filling their spell slots because of multiclassing. These magical objects require an Intelligence check (Arcana), and the spell is determined by rolling a table based on the amount of Intelligence points spent.

Other enchanted items might allow the user to alter their appearance, or even create an entirely new appearance. These can be particularly useful for those who have had to leave their homes, or are in a situation that they aren't welcome. An item that is magical can grant them an invisibility effect, or even make them invisible to everyone other than a selected person.
Utility Items
Utility items are equipment which isn't part of the categories of Armor or Clothing and have a variety of capabilities. Utility items are not compatible with each other, unlike Armor or Weapons. The majority of utility items have a passive effect that the player can activate when using them. However, some have additional abilities which are activated by pressing a button or triggering the skill.
Generally, the most common type of utility item is the Flashlight that illuminates the surrounding area. Other utilities include the Helicopter Hat and Rocket Boots, which allow the player to float in the air while moving and the Jetpack that allows players to accelerate in any direction while on the ground. Many utility items can be instantly created in the Engineering section, while others can be unlocked through Research projects or experimental projects at the Proving Ground.
Players can gain more powerful utility items in addition to the ones they have in their usual inventory by purchasing them from the Atomic Shop or from seasonal Scoreboard rewards. Certain of these items can be upgraded to make them more effective.
The majority of utility items give the player a navigational advantage or increase the ability to fight. Sharpening stones, crafted by an Weaponsmith can boost power and Ferocity, while Maintenance Oils, crafted by an Huntsman will increase concentration and healing power. Other useful items such as Writs or Theses crafted by the Scribe, can be used to give the player either a boost in Damage or Condition Damage.
XCOM soldiers can equip one utilitarian item to begin the campaign. An additional slot is available after the completion of certain engineering, research, or research projects on the Proving Ground. In item upgrades , additional slots are available by equipping a Grenade Launcher. This allows players to utilize the Smoke Grenade or Bomb while an offensive grenade remains in the primary slot.
